Northstar Online Learning is a free online, self-guided platform for users to learn essential digital literacy skills. Through video modules, available in both English and Spanish, you can learn any of these skills:
- Essential Computer Skills - Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, Using eMail, Windows OS, and Mac OS
- Essential Software Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GoogleDocs
- Using Technology in Daily Life - Social Media, Information Literacy, Career Search Skills, Accessing Telehealth Appointments, Supporting K-12 Distance Learning, and Your Digital Footprint

To get started, you will need to create a Northstar account. This link will take you to Northstar and you will then click on 'Connect with one of our locations.' Scroll down and click on 'Find a Northstar location.' Enter the 44667 zip code to find Orrville Public Library. Click on 'Sign up as a learner' to create your account.
